What should I bring to the track?

While you certainly don't need to bring everything listed, below is a good list to have when you are preparing for a track day. Do not rely on other people to supply you with the tools or supplies you may need!!


Car:
    1. Helmet
    2. Driving gloves
    3. Spare tires and wheels
    4. Air pressure gauge
    5. Portable air tank
    6. Magnetic numbers or shoe polish
    7. Common size sockets and wrenches
    8. Pliers
    9. Side cutters
    10. Multiple sizes of screwdrivers
    11. Zip ties and bungee cords
    12. Electrical & duct tape
    13. Oil, coolant, brake & other vehicle fluids
    14. Jack & jack stands
    15. Towels or rags
    16. Glass and parts cleaner
    17. Work gloves
    18. Hammer
    19. Spanner wrenches for coilovers
    20. Spark plugs with gapper
    21. Brake pads
    22. Cordless drill with bits
    23. Flashlight
    24. Drive belts
    25. Any spare parts that would be common or easy to break for your specific car.
Personal:
    1. Camera gear
    2. Umbrella
    3. Sun tan lotion
    4. Sunglasses
    5. Hat
    6. Lip balm
    7. Jacket
    8. Extra shirt
    9. Food and drinks
    10. Chair
    11. Canopy
    12. Ibuprofen

In addition, the following are general things you should check on your car to ensure it will pass tech:

    1. Secure battery
    2. Fluids are full and fresh
    3. Tires are safe
    4. Brake pads have ample life
    5. All lights work
    6. Wheel bearings
    7. Suspension parts are tight
    8. There will be more once you get to the track, but this is a good starting point!
