So what has Ryan been up to in California these past weeks? Here’s a little excerpt from Chris Forsberg’s blog where he mentions Ryan:

“Here’s Ryan Clemens finishing up the cage on one of the many FC’s at Hot Line. Ryan is a great fabricator from the midwest that has been working at Hot Line for the past 2 weeks or so.”

Also here is a shot and caption of the cage in the Porsche that Ryan was working on:

“They are in the middle of a cage on this old 911 as well. Look how well the cage is tucked up to all the pillars for a super clean finish. The bars are so close that they are welded straight to the pillars, no need for dimpled braces to fill the gap.”

I was just snooping around on facebook and noticed that Mike “MAGIC MIKE” Pollard’s beloved s13 is finally out of paint.  I’m really interested in what he going to be doing in 2010 rummor has it he will for sure be driving in the XDC and other series.  When I last spoke with Mike you can tell (if you haven’t been following him you should by now) that this is the MAGIC YEAR.. I only met Mike once at D1 NJ and he got my attention by killing it after event having his rear suspension all messed up and still laying down a ill run.. I have talked to him a handful of times, I am really proud of Mike and you might wanna take notes on Mike, because he is one of the drivers that I feel really knows his car and is willing to put it all on the line … I wonder where the paint theme came from or what sponsors wanted Mike to paint the car this way (I am a fan for the record) you should ask him on his facebook ..  Sorry Mike I am blowing up your spot ..

Rumors neither confirmed nor denied but, thanks for using a pic of Dennis on your Schedule.  Photo’s courtesy Keith Schoeler @ Kaizo Photo

Our friend Andrew got his car out. He’s apparently more antsy than a lot of other Minnesotans. He’s done a little make over during the winter so far and it’s looking pretty cool. Andrews style has been about clean, stock lines and battle scars. Looking good man!

…is gonna be a little different this year…

So while I’m sitting here waiting for the FD to arrive, I thought I’d throw together a little blog post for ya’ll…. With the temperatures getting slightly warmer, and the sun sticking around longer, the smell of car season is in the air.

Last night I drive out to my buddy’s shop where they have a lot of cool stuff going on. The reason for going out there in the first place was to help him work on what it probably the cleanest second gen integra this side of the Rio Grande (not even kidding). We were putting his engine bay back together after it was recently painted.

Everything was getting cleaned before re-installation. This car has been around for a long time, and I will do a write up on it once Bill decides it’s ready. It has quite the story to tell.

Kyle Watts, lead guitarist from Lost in Prague was there lending a hand too. Check them out on MySpace: http://www.myspace.com/lostinprague

There is all sorts of cool stuff around this shop, check it out:

Here’s Ty fixing the rear quarter of a MR2:

Here is Ty’s Rat Rod project, chopped, and ready for more work:

Anyone interested in 60’s or 70’s sports bikes? There were a few laying around the shop:

And last, but certainly not least, here is a shot of the bike that Mankato Bill is currently restoring. It’s a Yamaha street tracker of some sort. I think it’s turning out really cool… especially since it started it’s life with Bill as just another bike sitting in the junk yard. Pretty sick.

Well, that’s all I got for now… Hopefully the car shows up here soon.
